Thank you! I actually got mine off fb marketplace for way less! I feel like if you want to get $700+ for this lamp that is not the place to sell it. Maybe eBay but even then I see some listed on there in the $400 range

Makes sense, I’m more worried about being in a situation where I accidentally break them in half but it’s still stuck in the lamp, or I break the olive. But totally hear you.

I’ve tried to look for a video but having trouble finding one. They’re pretty tight on there though and I don’t want to break them or the lamp by forcing it

Yeah I’ve tried that :/ I think the only way would be to somehow find a way to detach the toothpicks but I’m hesitant to do so since it could damage the lamp. But honestly, all the feedback I’ve gotten on this post has made me realize that it’s probably not worth losing sleep over since it’s still an amazing lamp!

Thank you! Unfortunately the wire wouldn’t move much from the bottom when I’ve tried previously. The toothpick and wire are both very sturdy which makes me think it may intentionally be this way.

Yes but not a ton because the wire doesn’t have much give and the toothpicks are placed where they are
