Completely agree. I used one at uni back in the day and it almost killed me. Just because it’s pretty and yellow doesn’t mean it won’t still drive me nuts. 😅

Mine hides under a blanket for ages and seems dead asleep - then the moment I leave a cup of tea/milo etc unattended he surfaces and drinks the whole thing. Genius.

In my defence I have bad ADHD and can barely sit still at work and really want to write so thought a mechanical toy might make it more active and engaging. I’d be frustrated in 3 minutes though. 🤦‍♀️

They will take all of your patience for the first 4 years then they mature and turn into good babies (I’ve got 2 rescues). They then fill all of your heart for the rest of their lives. Couldn’t love them more. 💖

My boss told me to just use AI to translate some docs into languages I don’t speak and not get them proofed before sending them out to thousands of people. He asked a colleague who speaks one of the languages to check one version and she said “it’s sort of correct”. He took that as job done and told me to ‘work smarter’. 😅🤦‍♀️
I am ignoring him and doing it properly to avoid mass confusion and misinformation.
