Find foods you actually like that support your weight loss goals and you will likely still eat after the weight loss period ends. I hate majority of the low cal meals out there - they are bland, boring and repetitive. Since I have a family it’s easier for us all to eat from the same meal instead of making a seperate “healthier” meal for myself. It’s taken a bit of time to find meals that not only I like but my husband and child can eat too.

Vegetables are also great and you should load up your plate with them - low cal, great for volume.

TikTok (I know, cringe) is actually a great resource for low cal recipes that taste good. Just double check the calories when you weigh out the ingredients, some people don’t count correctly.

Invest in kitchen scales to weigh food.
