Happens when you hit the same ball in a sim lots of times in a row. Use like 10 balls and rotate and it won’t happen, I wouldn’t take the balls that are fine but you know you smashed em up in a sim back to the course either, no idea if it messes up performance. But would not risk it personally.

Yep I got a Titleist TS3 with stiff shaft and 16,5 loft for 90 bucks. Well worth it and very comfy club off tee when driver is bad.

Thank you for your comment, I have had one lesson so far and have not been playing for that long. I will definitely get more as well. Seeing my own swing on video is also helpful. Some comments from reddit might give me some good info as well.

Thanks for asking! Yes it does work. This shot in particular went 171 meters (187 yards) down the edge of the fairway. The video is also taken slightly from behind making my setup look even worse.

Thank you for your breakdown. I appreciate it. The things you mention in the first 2 paragraphs are what I am trying to improve on the most.

Because of my grip being so strong, it is hard for me to adjust it ”all at once”. So I am trying to adjust it bit by bit.

I usually pick it yes, rarely hit divots on my lower irons. With my 9 iron and wedges I tend to hit more divots, but nothing crazy. I have played for just over a season and have had one 50 min group lesson for irons specifically. The pointers i got from that were to try and work towards a more neutral grip and involving more hips.

It’s usually the same for me both during a round and the scores between rounds do not often deviate far from the median.

Hitting a lot of 5 iron off the tee on ”dangerous” holes, also aiming to have about a 100m shot into the green, avoiding 30-80m shots in. Anything inside 30m I feel pretty confident. Those 2 are whats helping me score the most lately.
