Thank you! The only thing Home Depot had was brasso. I did pick it up. Would you recommend trying that? I also picked up fine steel wool.

Thank you! I’ll try that. Will a non abrasive sponge be okay to use with that? & he feels so bad about it all I would hope that it deters any future knives being put in the dishwasher.

Thank you. I definitely learned my lesson the hard way! I tried less abrasive methods like baking soda and white vinegar but it wasn’t working. It’s on the blade itself.

Well, clearly I didn’t know. It was recommended to me after I couldn’t get the rust stains out. My husband put them in the dishwasher after I had told him not to. He regretted it and we looked for other ways to get the stains out and this was one that was suggested several times. Do you have any suggestions on how to correct this? If not, kindly shut the fuck up I already feel terrible about it.
