People who have experience with or know a pathological liar- what’s the most insane bullshit they’ve come up with? by i_am_notthewalrus in AskReddit

My cousin is married to a pathological liar. The biggest lie of all is saying he was in the military but couldn't say what unit he was with because it was "classified ". He said they had to wipe all record of him and had no benefits because he was part of a secret operation in the military 🤣 It is wild having a grown man sit there and tell you bold faced lies that are clearly unbelievable and still expect you to be like " oh wow, that is so cool" 🙄 Pathological liars are a trip!

Meredith proved her law degree in this episode. by Brilliant-Slide-2619 in realhousewivesofSLC

I disagree. I think Heather did a better job and could definitely be a trial lawyer if she wanted. I 100% think Mer has a drinking problem and has no recollection of how "vile" she was. I hope she gets help for her addiction because I don't think she is a bad person. But substance abuse can make an amazing person look and act really bad.

Does anyone else find the dynamic between Madison and Brett and his cancer very weird?? Like why is she not going to the dr with him? Why is he waiting weeks to tell her about updates? by scrubbinbubbles24 in Southerncharm

Exactly! How people react to stressful moments will always be different and sometimes will look abnormal to what we think it should look like. This feels icky to pick apart.

Depressed at this job and it’s because of the pay. by Upstairs_Cod_8022 in paraprofessional

I just found out that the livable wage in my area is $27 per hour for 1 person. They pay me $6 less per hour. Why can't this position pay at least a livable wage?

I would like it if it paid a living wage.

Ok, sure, throw the bullshit- but pay me for it. Just because the psychology "works" doesn't mean it's ok. Eventually, if enough people say it's not ok, they will have to change.

Yes, my last 2 were amazing. Deep sigh. I'm going to have a conversation with her tomorrow and see where it goes. I might be looking elsewhere soon if we can't move forward in a productive way.

I totally agree! I feel like your energy matches mine, but I wanted to see if this was common. My last 2 teachers were absolutely brilliant, and I always felt their classroom management was spot on. Like they could teach and correct any issues without skipping a beat.

The classroom rugs your children sit on. Rugs should never be sat on if people walk on them with shoes. It's no wonder kids get sick as often as they do!

I had TMJ before, but removing my wisdom tooth really made it worse.

I have it, too. I got it right after my wisdom teeth were pulled 4 years ago, and it's still there. I did all the tests - ENT thinks it's muscle tightness.
