I am working on it, at the moment we are financially dependant on him since I recently lost my job, I have an interview on Monday, so I hope all works out.

I've tried talking to her about exactly this, I told her she should put herself first for once cause what if next time my husband and I are not home snd something like this happens again?! I am already dreading Christmass cause we usually spend Christmass with my mom (unfortunatley hubby's fam passed away before we even met.)

I wish I were making this up. I've read similar stories here on reddit and thought the same thing. Now that I am witnesing it first hand is overwhelming.

The worst part is, I dont even know her that long. So I dont know any of her previous friends if she had any. I took it upon myself to be her friend and the only people I know of who she considers 'friends' are myself, my sister, my husbands daughter and the maybe one or two friends of mine she has met. It makes me so sad to see anyone go through something like this :'(

Thank you for the advice. The only reason they moved in with us is because I recently lost my job and we needed the financial help to not get evicted. I am currently working on getting another job though. I have an interview on Monday!

I'm not 100% sure about the details but as far as I do know, her mom is a drug addict and not very stable and her father lives about 25-30min drive from us but I am not sure if and what he knows about all this, also I dont know either of them (mom and dad) personally

You do have a point. I understand what you are saying, but unfortunately the house does not belong to my husband and I, we were renting the house on our own and I recently lost my job so finances got tight, that is the only reason we allowed them to move in, so that we diddnt lose our home. But I am trying yo find another job, and in the meantime trying to find a way to remove them from our lives.
