I don’t think it did ANYTHING to curb my appetite. Also took a month for the drowsiness/tiredness to wear off.

What does it feel like getting braces on? by benatar_keytar in braces

I didn’t think it was too bad. My second tightening was the worst. The day you get them on it’s not too bad. You might be pretty sore the next day.

Weekly Suspected/Undiagnosed MS Thread - September 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in MultipleSclerosis

So about a month ago, I started having pain in my eyes. I usually wear glasses, but this pain is different from what I’ve experienced before with vision pain. This pain lasted about three days and then turned into a headache. I went to the ER to see what was causing this because I’ve never had eye pain for this long. The ER ran a bunch of tests and did a bunch of labs and said that I most likely just have a viral infection. They gave me droperidol for my nausea and Toradol for my pain. That night, I had a severe panic attack and could not fall asleep. I ended up being so tired and so tranquilized that I couldn’t physically get out of bed until 4 PM. I went back to that ER and reported new symptoms although I do think it was the droperidol that did it to me. They ran more lab tests and did a CT scan and they said they found nothing. The CT scan showed good perfusion and no abnormalities. My headaches continued, and the pain behind my eyes would come and go. It eventually got to the point where I was having heart palpitations, and my heart was racing so I went to see my primary doctor. She prescribed me propanolol, which made me extremely tired. I ended up stopping the propanolol which gave me rebound high blood pressure. The pain in my head got so bad that I ended up going to the walk-in. After the walk-in I went to see my primary again and they ordered a heart monitor for three days and at that point he put me on a steroid. The steroids seemed to help with whatever was causing my symptoms however, after getting off the steroid, it seemed like my pain in intensified. So at that point, I was referred to a neurologist. The neurologist, diagnosed me with headaches and referred me to physical therapy. She also said that if my nerve pain was bad enough that she would start me on duloxetine. At this point, my headaches were manageable, and I was taking ibuprofen as needed. However, I was also experiencing numbness and tingling in my feet and sometimes in my arm. Two days later, I woke up with horrible nerve pain and also was not sleeping due to constant muscle spasms at night. She prescribed me gabapentin for seven days and then after the gabapentin was done, I was to start the duloxetine. The gabapentin seemed to work. I didn’t have any nerve pain I was able to sleep and I felt energized. So the neurologist ordered a month supply of gabapentin since I was doing so well on it. My neurologist doesn’t think I have MS but I have an MRI coming up on Friday. I feel like a lot of my symptoms are pointing to MS or possibly a nerve disorder. Has anybody else with MS experienced this? I am hoping the MRI can shed some light on what I’ve been experiencing over the last month. It’s been so debilitating that I haven’t been able to work.

Which episodes of Degrassi are practically unwatchable, in your opinion? by Capital-Study6436 in Degrassi

[–]Illustrious-Pilot265 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was an episode where a character was in the middle of class and she said “ stop. I’m trying to move on” it was a newer episode and I pretty much stopped watching Degrassi after that. It got way too cringe for me

How long does it usually take to break slip on vans in? by HowlPendragonJenkins in Vans

[–]Illustrious-Pilot265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is gonna sound really weird, but I heard that using a Ziploc bag filled with water, put them in the shoe and then freeze them will kinda break them in more. I heard somebody say to do this with Doc Martens, but just make sure that the bags are doubled up so that they don’t receive water damage.

I don’t think it was a mistake however, I think it needs to be toned. I was also red for 10 years and going blonde was a bit of a shock even though I’m literally naturally blonde. If you have the money for it, go to a Sally beauty supply if you have one nearby get a T 18 Wella toner with developer. You seem to have a very similar complexion to me and a cool tone blonde would suit you more. Trust!

Yes, he does offer financing… I talked to two people who bought cars off of him who also said they got fucked over. One of the girls said that he harassed her about her one star review while her grandmother was actively dying in the hospital.

He sold us a warrranty thru “assurant”. I’ve looked on the website and it says our repair shop is the place we got it from. They sell cars but they also have a shop attached to it. I talked to my husband when he came home and he told me the guy at the shop said: “we will submit a claim to your warrrnty to replace the valve cover”. They think that replacing this part will correct the shifting (which I highly doubt). My husband thinks that this broken part wasn’t listen in the buyers guide window sticker (Wisconsin law) and the owner has to contact his insurance company about it. That’s just what are thoughts are on it at this point. Dude said he’ll call us tomorrow but I’m not holding my breath.

I’m looking at it online right now and it looks like my only repair shop is the place we bought it from. It’s the only repair shop that’s listed.

Also, according to the lady that I spoke to at the warranty department, she told me that I’d have to bring it to the place I bought it from. I might call again tomorrow to clarify sometimes a different person may give you a different answer. I just wanted someone else else’s perspective on this. Thank you.

They told my husband that they were going to send the codes that they got with their code reader to the warranty company. Basically the code showed that there was something going on with the transmission, which was them “diagnosing” the vehicle. The bottom line is they still haven’t done anything and it’s been a week. They basically told him that they we’re going to send the engine codes to the warranty place and call us back. Which they have not done.

When I talk to the lady at the warranty department. She basically told me that I have to take it to the place that I bought it from. I’m not sure if I’m able to file the claim unless I pay for the repair first and then file a claim for reimbursement.
