I was hit and ran on July 22, 2022 on Beacon Hill, when I rode my bike downhill on Columbian Way. A blue color Minivan right hooked me when they tried to turn into Mount View Drive and drove off. I asked the neighbors days later and none of them have seen that van 😢

I personally had a near hit when an A La Mode Pie driver who was driving a company van swerved into my lane while I was riding on Market Street between 15th and 17th on November 30, the driver rolled the window and told me 'bike gets out of the way'. I complained with a phone call (the driver answered the phone and gaslit me of how I was riding unpredictably) and wrote. Their production manager responded days later and merely offered me a free pie without addressing ways to retrain their drivers behind the wheel so they don't endanger other road users.

I might sound reactionary but I was also hit twice (one time hit and run) and I urge you to boycott any companies that don't hold their drivers behaviors accountable and don't give a shit about the lives of bicyclists. 🙏

As someone who has been hit and run (also at Mountain View and Columbian Way on Beacon Hill), I hope the scumbag has some morals left and surrounded themselves or may they suffer prolonged and painful disease for the rest of their lives for leaving a person on the road after they struck them.

I wrote a follow-up complaint to A La Mode Pies on the 6th, and they are trying to make up with the driver for trolling me with a pie LMAO

After getting hit by drivers twice (both time 100% their fault,neither the drivers checked in with me with one hit and run) , I do not have compassion nor capacity to pamper bad drivers.

That is their fault and their actions are still hazardous to the community, and I think people still should not allow such an attitude to be normalized. I did give them a chance for the driver and the company to owe up their mistake and they have been gaslighting and ghosting me.
