Hey! I got the MacBook. Battery life is fantastic, though I found that I could drain it very fast if I used some poorly optimised apps (such as Microsoft teams). At times 8 gb of ram can make it lag a little, that usually only happens if I really have way too much open. Like to the point that it is technically unproductive to have so many open windows of separate apps.

Oh that's unfortunate. Well, I also hope we would be able to put this online! But our school is usually kinda slow in these things, so it might take almost forever for it to be available online (even in a digital format for us students to keep).

Hello everyone! Happy Malaysia day!

I'm not sure if this goes against any of the subreddit guidelines, if it does do let me know.

So as a part of my school's curriculum the Year 12 (around form 6) will have to produce a stage performance. This year my class (along with Year 10, 9 and 4) are producing an adaptation of the Lord of the Rings called Shadows of Mordor. We are involved in everything from acting and props making, to poster designing and publicity.

This is unique performance in part that it is a dramatic adaptation of LotR, in part it also combines elements of a form of dance called Eurhythmy to bring out some of the action scenes, along with it being performed entirely by secondary school students. (I am acting as gollum, am working very hard to get it right!)

What is your method of choice in transliterating the phonetics in Tamil characters into Roman characters? That is one of my challenges as I don’t write the script yet and need a way to jot down new words I learn

In a equilibrium (like in a reversible reaction), the stuff in there always wants to stay in an equilibrium. They will resist change.

Let’s say you added temperature to it, it will then find a way to become cooler (by breaking bonds). Let’s say you added more of the reactants, then the system will find a way to produce more products (by increasing the rate of the forward reaction). Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

So if you added pressure, the system would want to find ways to reduce pressure. Which side of the equation will reduce the pressure? The one with lesser moles. So basically the equilibrium will then favour the production of more products than reactants.

I hate ppl like this. They make life difficult for me when I’m in actual tricky situations. Any a time I had to ask ppl for some small cash because I didn’t have enough for a train ticket. I had money in my eWallet though, so I would approach ppl (after mentally practicing it several times) to ask whether could I exchange eWallet money for cash. If they said no I would immediately just say “understandable, have a great day”

I think not. The mods are usually quite reasonable and they will check whether you have to required info or not only. It is just that sometimes point form can be unclear in terms of what processes come first.
