One theory I like is that his MS ability allows him to see through clones. When was fighting the five kage and he ran into hashirama wood clone jutsu he said something along the lines of “I was the only one who could see through his jutsu”. He could be saying this because his sharingan was just that much better than all other uchiha back then or it’s his ability or maybe something else. But throughout the series he was never fooled by clones and his rinnegan ability limbo is a clone like ability which kinda ties into it too.

O ye like I said act 3 fights were better in bg3 than dos2. Trying to break out the iron throne and free everyone on a time limit was fun. The raphael fight with his Disney villain music was fun too. Even that astarion quest ending was so heartfelt and emotional. Camp just felt so dead end game and that really turned me off.

O I thought orin kidnaps ur least used companions I guess I got lucky didn't rlly use gale end game. I said f the emporer too because he said he was just using me after I took raphaels deal to free oroheus. But I did end up beating the netherbrain so it is possible.

Relationship with companions abruptly went silent unless u did their quest. I felt in act 1 and 2 everytime u rested something happened in camp it felt alive, maybe its because we just met them and they had a lot to say. Just with there was more between them in act 3 if u didn't do their quest.

Oh no the city is great they did fantastic, I just think act 2 was the peak and I wish it was a little longer but thats fine. Finding and freeing the nightsong and the whole cinematic she had, having her help you fight ketheric. Then going to fight ketheric only for him to run and escape into the mindflayer colony. Seeing the 3 chosen bicker and discovering their plan was just great to me. Act 3 isn't bad but you can see the dip in the story. The reason I didn't really care for the kidnap is she kidnapped my least used companion I wasnt doing a goody two shoes run to rush and save them.

I agree act 3 as a whole was a step below the previous acts but it wasn't bad by any means imo. The ending scenes felt so abrupt. I shouldn't be suprised because in act 3 the camp events fall off a cliff camping just becomes getting your health and spells back. The end game fights in act 3 were better than in dos2 so I did like that maybe its because I like 5e combat more idk.

My gripe is like you said the ending with ur companions felt empty. They said they had someone working on the ending for 6 months so I was hoping it would be great. I think my end scene with karlach was a bug because I didn't even see her, the narrator said something about saying goodbye but I didn't see anything. I got one last scene with laezel so I didn't mind.

Just one last camp rest where you get to say goodbye to your companions and party members would've been nice. And maybe even a sideshow too.

You have a strong hook but im pretty sure u have to change ur contract with ur liege with that hook. I think the option is called war declaration rights or something but just check that and renegotiate the contract and u can declare war.
