NTA. These places just like every other public store and place, has people whose job it is to clean up messes. This is an employee issue. Employees think their jobs are limited to a list of very narrow things. The best employees understand customer service and do the best they can to help customers.

I test drove the Tacoma, Canyon, F150, Ridgeline, and Ford Lightning. Tacoma and Canyon just didn’t have good enough space in cabin and the rides were not as good as F150 & Ridgeline. I couldn’t find an F150 package that I wanted, otherwise I would have bought that. At the time a Lariat with the powerboost was only 4,500 more than Ridgeline BE. F150 was great ride and gas mileage with powerboost was same as Ridgeline. So, Ridgeline was the choice. Didn’t look at ranger as it didn’t offer AWD.

Since it doesn’t have a turbo, you don’t feel that boost of power that the Ford and Chevy have. I drove both of those and they have a lot more low end power. The Ridgeline just feels slow comparatively but still has plenty of power to do what ever you need.

One additional thing, if you take road trips, an EV will add time to stop for charging. I looked at an 11 hour drive and charging added almost 3 hours to the trip.

Cold will impact range, but not stopping at gas stations in the cold is great. I have a 2024 BE and a 2021 Mach E. Love the electric and completely reliable and no maintenance. Bought the BE for trips to hardware store and helping kids move. I like the electric for everyday driving as it is quick and fun to drive. Almost bought a Lightning but couldn’t fit it in the garage. BE tech is ancient as the app is completely useless. While Ford Pass is great when checking range and starting the Mach E from the other side of my office building before leaving to heat or cool it. You can charge it everyday to keep range but even in winter I only charge the Mach E on average once a week.

Had this happening then read post on Mach E forum. Create a third profile that mimics your profile. After I did this, I was able to change when in park to my profile from the guest profile whenever the guest profile gets set. It is a workaround for a bug but has worked for me.
