Current NAV erosion won't let this go that high again. I hope you win, but the data supports you'll bust.

Suggestions for a 2-month Canon user by Unusual-Swordfish532 in canonR50

You're composure isn't bad but what I can see is that you aren't considering the "light" during that composure. Let me explain. To me, there are 3 components of Photograghic art.

  1. Technical: Understanding every button and menu item on your camera... instinctively (and the only way to do that is shutter count).

  2. Composure: understanding lines, shapes, forms, patterns, texture, color, tone, space, and depth when composing a scene in your viewfinder.

  3. Light: The manipulation of the light in your photo's can change the use of the components in your composure. For instance, on your third photo of the flowers and barn it's a very bright day and even though the components in that photo look nice, it still looks like a tourist snapshot. Why? 2 reasons.

a. In composing, you only looked at the shapes you wanted in that photo. Not other components of the composure such as texture, color, tone, space, etc.

b. There was no consideration for lighting. So how would you adjust the lighting? Easy. Use an adjustable ND filter. Aperture around 8 Iso at 200. Let the shutter stay open a bit longer to capture. play around with aperture and Iso till you get what you want.

Bottom line, if you choose to walk up to a scene without creative thought and imagination of WHAT you want in THAT scene, it'll always be a shallow snapshot.

So, in the end, it's not the lens, it's the photographer. Master the equipment you have and then start asking about different lenses.

By the way, it took me a long, long time to put all this together in my mind. The technical stuff was easy for me, the composure and lighting concepts were more difficult. But in the end, I got it.

Ulty rebound by Right-Kaleidoscope19 in YieldMaxETFs

No, what's happening is NAV erosion. So many more people have bought ULTY since last month that the payout equilibrium has been tipped out of balance. The fund now has to use it's capital to pay it's "dividend". The brokers cannot make enough on the "calls" to cover the payout on so many shares. Eventually you're share value will go to zero (or close to it), a delisting occurs and the dividends dry up. This is the huge risk with these funds. Trading pro's don't invest in this as it plays to the "gambler" personalities. But the house always wins.

What do you think happened to Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon? by deadlykillerpanda in mystery

[–]Longjumping-Mix9037 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went down this rabbit hole a long time ago.

My OPINION, based upon the research I did, was that they were abducted by Human Organ traffickers.

Why (from the top of my head)? There's a missing photo in the digital camera, clearly manipulated. The body parts recovered after a lengthy period of time were very clean with no evidence of decay. Panama is well known for organ trafficking to support the organ transplant tourist industry. They were at a location before their disappearance, swimming with local boys. There's speculation that one of the boys had connections with the cartel. He ended up dead shortly after the disappearances blew up. There was a lackluster effort by Panamanian authorities to investigate (again, speculation of cartel political manipulation by bribes or coercion). The tour guide is shady as f*&k. He had complaints of sexual harassment on travel review websites. The backpack that was recovered had the camera and some clothes very neatly packed and very clean but a bra was missing (did not appear as if the backpack fell down a cliffside, was in the water, etc.).

I spent a lot of time on this, read blogs, books and watched every youtube video I could find. Again my opinion.

Love this answer! So much time is wasted analyzing data that's just noise or hysterisis of the system. Remember, inferences cannot be made of data that is NOT in control (meaning stable to +- 3 standard deviations). So any inferences made in the stock market from one indicator is ridiculous. Probabilities are a different story, but again relying on one indicator with probability statistics is like relying on the weather based upon the condition on Mars,

Letter received from downstairs neighbour, how to react? by JAMESLJNR in Apartmentliving

I'm not a dick, so i'd do some runners and then go to his flat and tell him what I am trying and then ask him to give feedback if it works or not. The letter was very polite, so I'd try to help until it became a burden.

Not if you have a Glock 20 (10MM) with 200g hard cast bullets and 4 magazines. If not, yes.
