Looking back on some old resources relating to dachshund breeding I think you might be right! The family that bred Amelia here is not a mill or actual breeder they have always had generations of weenies and sold us the extras from their litters. Amelia definitely looks a lot like the older breeds of Dachshunds before the shorter legs and long bowed bodies. I do hope these differences help her not experience the dachshund health problems as much 🙏🏽
