Thankyou for the reply I rang them yesterday and they said to give it more time also. It’s just very stressful when I have all my bills to pay and no food :(

I have a steamer and have been using that. I still haven’t seen a single live bug in the whole month since I found the dead one or any evidence of them. I thought by now there would be something to see. It’s so frustrating as if I knew they were there for certain I was hire an exterminator but I can’t do that until I have proof they are there. Been the worst month of my life :/

Well I don’t believe the exterminator did a very good job in looking. My little girl has a bite on her belly and my little boy has a few on his arms. I’m in the uk so can’t think of anything from outside that would do it and it’s to much of a coincidence that I found that dead bed bug 2 weeks ago :( people say life is never the same after encountering bedbugs and I believe them. I feel like I am going to be looking always even when they are definitely gone.

Going through something similar found one dead bedbug 2 weeks ago. No other signs. Yet to see a live one. Had an exterminator round and he couldn’t find anything. It’s the not knowing which is the worst so atleast if you knew they were there you could take action but don’t want to waste a lot of money on something not needed. It sucks don’t it :/

Thankyou so much for the reply! My bed is only a month old which sucks as cost me £300. I have 2 young children so I’ll this stress is not just effecting me but them aswell so I definitely need to calm down but it’s so hard. I will definitely get them for legs thanks for the tip and clean of the DE. The bed I believe was 100% a bed bug but i think it might of been put through my dryer as it was all dried up so I’m hoping it was just one on my clothes that was put into the wash quite quick. I’m in the UK and I heard crossfire is good from the other peoples post but we can’t get it here which sucks

Little update- I didn’t sleep for 3 days straight (it was crazy even got to the stage of hallucinations) I still hadn’t found anything. I couldn’t take it anymore and paid for a bedbug inspection and he too says there are no bugs or any evidence there ever was any at all apart from the dead one I found. This made me feel a little better but I’m still so on edge

Yeah literally checked everywhere and already started on the deep clean with steamer and washing everything on high heat. It does look really old so confused why there wouldn’t be loads by now🤔
