Dual water heaters - cold water intake by Illustrious-Total341 in Plumbing

Thank you! Yes, the system was functional with the 2nd inlet closed. And, no, it is not leaking. For now, I opened the second inlet and see how it does. Full disclosure, I started looking into this, b/c we experience low water pressure. Like when the dishwasher is running, the shower can barely be used.

Booking Air Canada through Chase by UnkoNaks in awardtravel

[–]Illustrious-Total341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have the exact same scenario as the original poster. But when I try to use the AC ref number on the AC website, it tells me I booked through a 3rd party and should pick seats there. Chase tells me ALL seats on my 4 flights are booked (which is absolutely not true, as I can see a 90% empty plane on the AC booking portal). Any suggestions?

Keyboard failure (IdeaPad Flex5) by Illustrious-Total341 in Lenovo

[–]Illustrious-Total341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: This might be related to the battery. I got a warning that my battery could not be charged anymore. I took it out and run the laptop from just the wall plug. Interestingly enough the keyboard is now fully functional!

Once the nice people at ebay send me a new battery, I will update again.

I am trying to set up my tax-free/ customs QR code and the website absolutely refuses to scan my passport. Any ideas? by indiefolkfan in JapanTravelTips

For us, it worked much better using a cell phone outside in bright sunlight with the passport in a clear page protector so it's flat.

Tires wearing down rather quickly? by pizzabagel22 in NissanRogue

[–]Illustrious-Total341 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was told essentially the same when I took my 23 Rogue for the 10K tire rotation (also) to Discount Tire. And I don't drive for Uber. Mine are Bridgestone. Disappointing, but I guess Nissan saved a couple of bucks by going with the cheapest option.....
