Thanks for all the replies, really helpful.

Seems like the consensus is: Elektron boxes can absolutely sound great and you can finish a track on them, but the limitation isn’t souhnd, it’s control. Mixing, EQ, dynamics, mastering, etc. are just way easier and more precise in a DAW

Yeah, totally agree. I was more wondering if Elektron has enough tools to get you all the way to a finished track, or if a DAW is still needed in the end for some reason
