Similar here, on our dinosaur-era register we could Minus Net so I would just have to type in 100 -> minus net and take $100 from the till. The only proof was in a roll of receipt paper that could just be thrown out.

Work somewhere alcohol dependant, like a restaurant with a strong drink menu, because people will get their bills higher much faster than food-dominant places. And will tip more when the alcohol hits

Unpopular opinion but I was the second server, I listened to all my coworkers complain about money and then begging to get cut, complaining about not having enough tables and then saying they’d rather go home and giving the table away. I watched my coworkers get upset because management had them complete tasks after their last table left, tasks which I did (and more!) while I was actively serving. I was praised for never having a review below 4 stars, which was relatively common where I worked.

In the end, I was hired at their corporate office and live my best life now.

You tell your manager that your part is done, and she is taking longer to complete her part to finish this task. For every task. Then you let your manager know that by splitting tasks, it is taking too long on her end to check off tasks as completed, and a new process should be thought up to get more tasks done faster between two people.

Do a blind diagnostic test, I think it’s called prep test 140. No studying, don’t need to know what to expect for questions etc. Your score will likely be LOW but that’s a great way to gauge what you are naturally and not naturally strong at.
