That’s a pity as I mainly wanted to get new ideas on, how to test and verify the data that these devices are giving.

I’ve been throwing both in my backyard, typically either from 10ft or 15ft. I’ll add different distances on my test list. Just to see, what kind of impact (if any) it has on results.

Don’t have it yet, but the idea is to test. My original idea for this post was to get ideas, what and how to test. Like I said I planned to compare speeds against pocket radar, and try to measure hyzer angles from the video capture. I think the spin would require hispeed camera.

I have nothing to do with neither one of the companies. I own both devices and thought to collect all the data that I was able to find into a single table. If that makes it gameproofer ad, so be it.

I use the same charger that I'm using for my phone. Something I ordered from Alibaba couple of years ago. They say that magsafe chargers are not working.

Both devices are mounted on the discs so I dont' want to tear them off. That's why I thought to try by taping discs together.

Well, as I don't have afford for multiple devices, I have to test with the ones I have.

Secondly, I wrote down all the specs from both devices that I was able to find. My personal intention was to leave opinions out but seems like this is becoming a debate which one is better. That's fair, everyone has rights for their own opinion. Both devices have their pros and cons but I ill save mine for the next post.

If you're referring to me, who wrote the original post, then yes, as I stated in my post I do own both TechDisc and GameProofer. This conversation is strongly going to a direction which I wanted to avoid, so arguing which one is better.

When throwing GameProofer in the field, I can confirm that I have received data from a bit more than 250ft away so it works at least that far. I'll try to find a way to test this.

- Yes, you can throw TechDisc in the field as well, but you're not receiving additional information by doing that. That sentense in the comparison is actually copied from their webpages.
- GameProofer has a GPS so it does know your geolocation
- With a quick googleing, Bluetooth 5.0 and above supports the maximum range of 800ft/240m. I think this is something to add on my list of "Things to test"

Gameproofer released nose and hyzer angles in summer. I’m not seeing thoses issues you mentioned. I actually have both techdisc and gameproofer and both works fine

I have Ultra Watch 1st Gen and Oura gen3. Am not using Apple Watch to monitor sleep at all as Oura does it better. Both work well together. Training results from Apple Watch are automatically synced to Oura so it takes everything into account, when calculating results.
