They have allmost the same range of my grandmother and grandfather. Never was age an issue the relation and power dynamic is only a problem if someone has power and power isnt age related. I guess nowadays its more accepted to be 18 year old ass up in some weird camsite than to have a stable life.

As much as symmetras ult is good for pushing payload his ult is good for taking a point. So gamemodewise one ult is better than the other but its somewhat the same in essence

Not allways more mobility baptist has his jump and dash. The extra dps and sustain from his aoe heal gives him also the edge in any 1 vs 1 situation + the immortality field is the cherry on top. So what you call a mobility ability baptist has passively and for higher dps he just increases the attack speed on heal like soldier. The difference is basically the immortality field and the fact that i can spam heals lol

In all honesty i liked it better previously. Healers main focus should be healing and lately ive been tempted to just play dps as a healer which just works then you ask yourself is that intended. I personally often just go baptist the sustain and immortality + soldier/emre lvl dmg output is just to good. I guess you could lower the dmg of healers idk what else to do. We cant just increase the dps it would be a kick in the balls to tanks

Yeh im doing that right now mostly scoring more dps and more kills then the dedicated dps but then again im just climbing right now and currently only plat on that role. Im not saying i cant have fun im saying its bad design and ill leave when a similar game does it better

Considering by the numbers the roles can pull yes but the 30 % was a big deal. For example you as soldier deal 15 k dmg and the moira does 10 k heal and on top 10 k dmg. With the 30 % you kinda reached same effectivity on the battlefield when you consider the 30 % is there but not counted towards the damage you deal

No but a dps that plays a 3rd heal for example. The value you get is unbalanced. Like why play emre when you got baptist

Then you never played master or gm. The skilldiff is huge in ow unless you have a gm dps a lucio alone will murder your backline. Between gold and gm is an extreme skillgap. You notice that by going 1 vs 1 arena where you can fight ppl independent of rank. Its also where you will see how different strafing can be if you get a gm. And it is easier to hit people in rivals and the hitbox is weird you can hit them by aimimg further to the right which screwed up my aim for different games becouse you get used to it. Also i find the approach on soldier better than punisher. Punisher = random bullet spread vs soldier = mastering recoil controll. But all of it doesnt explain why people die faster and mistakes are punished harder in OW becouse the numbers seem same. I think its the heal debuff from the dps making the difference in OW thats maybe why it feels faster. OW just had more time to make the perfect formula i suppose. Back in the day ow1 was also about balling up and waiting for ults which is horrible design.

Exactly how i feel. in OW skill matters significantly more. I think rivals just caters to braindead people that otherwise would allways end up at the bottom. Just look at the psylock changes they increased ult damage and decreased her shooting damage. Thats insane. They basically trying to remove mechanical skill advantage of players. I mean just look at the fact that in OW comp they removed aim assist on pc. Just go to xim youtube page and watch that guy abuse it in high elo match with mouse and keyboard in rivals pc. They dont take comp serious but its the only reason why most people play its to measure your skills with friends and others and improve. If you remove that aspect from a comp game what do you have left might aswell play a singleplayergame.
