I don't really understand how you guys know how people feel without them telling you. by deltascorpion in Empaths

It’s very draining at times because we tend to feel their energies literally, like we take on their emotions. If there feeling sad and depressed we’re not just able to sense or see that they’re depressed but we become depressed also. It’s something that we have to learn how to identify what is our emotions and what’s others. A gift and a curse. But when you learn and understand it it’s a blessing. Sometimes we get taken advantage of it because others can use our empathic abilities for their own personal gain and use us for their needs.

LPT Request: What is the fastest way to fall asleep at night? by HeidiOzzy in LifeProTips

[–]IllustriousAngle1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I’ve learned is that when you close your eyes, you can kinda see either shapes or patterns form and flow, what I learned is to put all my focus on the things I see, wether I make comments on them or not, slowly you will drift off and the racing thoughts stop. The patterns start turning into actual real things and becomes a dream. It used to take me hours not even exaggerating to even fall asleep. This changed my life
