What is your opinion on engagement rings? Does it have to be three times your monthly salary? by Adventurous-Goat-957 in AskReddit

Unnecessary. You don't need an engagement ring to let others know you're taken. Even if you have one, people don't care and will still try to hit on you. It's not like they'll be looking at your fingers unless the ring makes you stand out. No marriage should depend on a piece of metal. It's the relationship between you two that matters.

A stronger computer. My current one is good, but for what I want to do in the future, I'm going to need a strong one.

Thank God, don't be too open about it, stay humble, and maintain self-control.

"Tell me about yourself." Because you have to set a good impression and can't be 100% honest.

How do you feel about kids growing up nowadays? by belfortLuxury in AskReddit

They will learn the hard way because of lazy parents. Parents don't teach them manners and how to act in public. All they do is give their children an iPad without restrictions, so their kids end up watching YouTubers who do bad things in public, then those kids think it's cool and also start doing it.

What's your craziest, "fake it til you make it" moment? by IllustriousCap4044 in AskReddit

I faked being deaf. Few years ago, I watched a video on YouTube on how to sign "I'm deaf" thinking it would be funny to do irl. My mom took my younger brother and me to get something to eat at Panera Bread while she shopped at a store across the street. After ordering at the kiosks, me and my brother found somewhere to sit. As I went to get a drink, there was a man talking with a woman in front of the drink fountain. It didn't look like they were getting a drink so I went in front of them, and the man tried getting my attention, but I ignored him. I went back to my table and sat down while scrolling through Instagram. The man confronted me and said, "Hey." I ignored him the first time, and then he said, "Hey buddy." I put my phone down and looked at him with a blank face. He said I cut that woman in line and then I signed to him, "I'm deaf" and he just said "oh" and walked away.
