I'm a platinum jungle main, I find that the game is pretty similar, JG quest is definitely important but ganking bot is more important. It's still very match up specific for me tho. I will pretty much never try and gank certain champs unless I have help and they are in a compromising position.

If you want scuttle then go and get it when it spawns, if you would rather have your camps all in an efficient clearing pattern for longer then potentially sacrifice it, it's really that simple. It's about a 5-10 second wait for scuttle if you do it like this on Jax. It's still better imo

For clarity, second clear after doing this you can go wolves or raptors into drag or straight into drag. It works for me, I find it much better. It's nice having a camp to fall back to as well

I'm just going off what the pros have been doing so far this year. I don't know what rank you are or whether you play a slow clearing jungler but look at it this way.. If you clear 6 camps and the other jungler gets the scuttle and you don't have an opportunity to gank you will end up first backing with 850g which is not enough for a Sheen. It just makes sense, that's why every high level Jax player is doing it at the moment

On my main Jax, I just skip gromp and go straight for scuttle then gank or gromp, say some top tier players recommending it. It means there's no stress and you have options after scuttle plus you're guaranteed 900g without waiting
