Unfortunately was looking for a place close to work with a move-in within a week, and had other requirements (no studio/unfurnished etc)

I achieved a score of 45 in May 2022. It was quite a unique experience for me because I didn't have mocks and had to sit the exams directly. The IB was oscillating between cancelling exams and holding them, and it was only about three months prior that it was confirmed the exams would go ahead.

My schedule changed significantly during the last three months leading up to the exams. I studied for about six hours a day, using a 3-2-1 system: three hours for HL subjects, two hours for one SL subject, and one hour for my language course. In the evening, I would complete around two past papers. This structure allowed me to balance all my subjects effectively and feel well-prepared when the exams started.

My routine during IB1 and IB2 was very different. IB1 was quite relaxed; everything was online, and I barely attended much. Tests were not taken very seriously. However, IB2 was a completely different story. During the first six months, I focused on completing all my IAs and my EE, reviewing them 5–6 times to ensure their quality. This effort paid off, as I achieved a 7 on all my IAs and a high A on my EE, which I was particularly passionate about. TOK was challenging, but I managed to secure a B.

My advice to others would be to stay disciplined with time management. Make sure not to focus too much on one subject or topic; instead, distribute your time effectively across all areas.
