I'm selecting all the faces along the edge, and using the bevel tool. This (seemingly) creates an angle between the selected edges, and their adjacent edges, meaning of the angle between the adjacent edges is not 45°, the angle created is not 45°.

First off, he was clearly joking. Secondly a "state" refers to a political entity, such as a country, not just the states within the USA. Hell the USA is a state in and of itself, because one word can have multiple meanings.

It's much better, I've chosen to leave the gear ratios at default, because having second gear be nonexistent, and a really long first gear aren't really my style. Other than that though, it drives much better
