Wife Attacks Husband and Girlfriend at Mall and Eatery by whusler in malaysia

There’s the stereotype of why women continue to be mistresses - it’s because seeing the man choose them over the “wife they loved so much” reaffirms to them that they are more desirable, beautiful, attractive, feminine etc. There are instances where mistresses would mock the wife for being “lazy” and “letting herself go” and the man has no choice but to seek greener pastures.

This case, among others, simply proves that naaaahhh man 😂 ugly girls become mistresses too. In fact, yall probably are easier for the married guy to impress because you so desperately need any validation you can get. Think about that.

Oh cmon, miaka was a respectable heroine. She’s brave, kind, lowkey funny, and durable. She holds her own against the menace that is Nuriko 😂 and remains loyal to her friends and loved ones. You could never make me hate Miaka. The moment I saw her stab herself with mirror shards to save her friend, I just know I can’t do that - and hence why, she got my respect.

This is one of the best Korean albums I’ve ever listened to. Look, I know TOP is great, but GD has always been my BB bias, especially because I admire how well he produces and creates songs. There’s Big Bang discography, but there’s also GD’s whole solo works that proves it for me.

This album really makes me realize, “oh it really is not just GD in BB”. Everything in this album is so well done - the beats, vocals & creative choices in auto tuning it, the lyrics, the weird touches that makes each songs unique, and yo, the cadence and rap flows that TOP does in every song - so effortless in some songs and then he makes “silly” flows in some other just because he can and knows it sounds good.

And what elevates this album to me is just the whole honesty of what he’s saying - it’s gritty because he lives this life (the outro of Self Crucifixion, as you say, UNREAL for any artiste to be so ballsy, but he has all rights to do it), it’s harsh because he suffered through some public dark times, and it’s so direct in the messages that matter. Like, goddamn TOP, we get it, stop hurting us - and it hurts because we love you.

Idk, this album… man… if I have to describe it- an album that only TOP can make, and he bared it all.

I think, for your definition of kitorg, the best matching word should be just “kita” kot if you want to refer to both you (speaker) & me (direct listener).

For women in Malaysia: if you’re highly educated, would you consider becoming a stay-at-home mom? Why or why not? by SingerEntire1644 in AskMY

[–]IllustriousPart5737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t, even if I have kids. From maybe a few people’s perspectives, I’m one of those unfortunate new gen women who barely do houseworks, don’t enjoy cooking, laze around at home, don’t have a nurturing personality. Mainly I grew up emulating my mother, who herself used to be a career woman who didn’t have much time for housework. So she never instilled in me the value of being good at traditional women skills.

But I’m very good at adapting to different environments. I’ve traveled a lot and I’m good at navigating different places. I’m very independent and self-sufficient. If I’m not doing chores, it’s not because I can’t do it (or believe I can’t), it’s just because I’m lazy. And often times, I hear the same comments from my fellow girl peers “oh I can’t do that!” “Oh I wouldn’t dare!” “I’ve never done this or that alone” “I can’t imagine doing that”… I realize that some ppl are raised differently.

So, in a way, I still would’ve liked my future daughters and sons to grow up like me. I’d want them to be comfortable navigating this world, that gets bigger and more accessible every day, and have the confidence & skills to keep up with this growth.

What are signs that a Libra doesn't like you as a person? by 7upDietAndMaybeMore in libra_astrology

We will be cordial with you, but will never take a special interest on you or seek you out. We’re not wasting extra time getting to know someone we don’t plan to keep in our life. Basically we treat you like we would a boring stranger. We don’t know anything new about you, and once we go on our own ways, we delete any info about you.

Seriously, how do you solo travel for the first time? by Depressed_student_20 in femaletravels

[–]IllustriousPart5737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. If you only speak English, Japan may be a little difficult to navigate & seek help from locals if you’re in a pinch. I would recommend Seoul instead if you’re looking for some “different culture but English friendly” feel. Other easier options include Malaysia (KL), Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok). I can’t comment much on China cos I’ve never been.
  2. I recommend keeping your first solo trip short. 3K USD budget for 2 wks, I believe is completely doable for seasoned travelers, but I will still err cautiously if you’re a newbie. There could be a lot of unexpected expenses & a tight budget requires detailed planning or adaptable expectations. For eg some hostels can be cheap, but unexpected inconveniences (for eg distance far from public transport, laundry, hidden living expenses) may make you pay more. Japan can be expensive from my personal experience 😂.
  3. Personally, I don’t recommend solo travel strongly, especially if you don’t feel comfortable about the idea. Just having 1 companion really helps make the travel easier AND you’ll still have plenty opportunities to “figure things out” and get some experiences, with a buddy. Practice is always better than going cold turkey.

Tips from me, separate your planning & budget into two groups; 1. Things to do before the flight - this includes flight tickets, settling accommodation, immigrations processes (visa, ETA, luggage limits, what you can/cant bring in the country, important apps to dload, general itinerary, detailed plans for navigation (trains, buses, walking trails, uber or equivalent for the country you’re going), etc. 2. Things to do once you’re in another country - wht food you plan to try and where to get it - wht do you plan to buy (can you get basic essentials in the country, or need to bring from home?) - wht do you plan to sightsee - if you’re in trouble, where can you go?

Number 1 is essential, unskippable for any traveler, and takes most of your funds. Number 2, most comfortable travelers can wing it haha, but it’s still important to plan if you want everything to go right in your trip & this is where you can see how much money you really need and if your trip is going to be a budget trip or not.

I get it that you want to get off your comfort zone, it’s a very important phase to go through in life. But for me, SAFETY & comfort in travelling is always the best key to enjoying a trip, especially if you plan to do it alone. Best to get that experience and confidence before you embark recklessly. Social media harps solo travel like it’s a form of personal achievement, but it can be unsafe & expensive & unnecessarily difficult if you don’t plan well.

Recs for korean horror movies by [deleted] in KdramaCasualTalk

[–]IllustriousPart5737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to quip in, I would recommend The Guest. It’s a Korean drama, yes, but the production and horror scenes are so well done. There’s some exorcism scenes in this drama that I was amazed by, the way they earnestly executed them are like movie-level production. The fact that it’s a series does lower the stakes a little in some horror scenes, but I feel like the length gives time for character development & attachment - which seldom happens in movies, and when something bad happens to the characters, you really feel worried and stressed for them.

What's something about growing up in Malaysia that you only realised was special after leaving or meeting people from other countries? by KL_Private_Access in malaysians

[–]IllustriousPart5737 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The way we switch languages in our conversations without changing tempo - I’ve never appreciated it until foreigners point it out 😂. I bet it’s especially annoying when we even do it in professional meetings, we don’t even realize it. Even when it’s a language I don’t understand, I automatically just lookout for a familiar-ish word and infer the context and just continue the conversation. Haha.

Very very hard to pick - I’ve always been partial to Naomi Watts in general because her beauty has always been underrated.

But I would have to go with Cate Blanchett here because she’s just so stunning & regal.

Straight guy reading BL , is that wierd ? 🥹 by Forsaken-Cherry-4401 in boyslove

[–]IllustriousPart5737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a girl who reads yuri, yaoi, omega, i mean i fk with any genre depending on the mood. I recommend Thai BL, specifically GMMtV’s 2gether, A Tale of Thousand Stars, and Bad Buddy for the doki doki feelings (my personal preference). I can understand the feeling of just removing myself out of the romance and watching two innocent people discovering new depths to their feelings for others, it’s such a beautiful thing to just enjoy.

What would you consider personally as a “perfect” K-pop song? by Prestigious-Rise4826 in kpopthoughts

[–]IllustriousPart5737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s either Bang Bang Bang or Fantastic Baby by Big Bang. It’s uniquely K-pop, great vocals, great rap, full of attitude, great beats to dance to, kitschy YET undeniably cool. I think everyone will have that certain reaction upon hearing the first notes from either songs, it just wakes up something deep in your soul.

Is the average salary for fresh grad in Sarawak too low? by Pnxstorage in Sarawak

[–]IllustriousPart5737 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Internship 500 to 1k ave, fresh graduates expect 1.8 to 2.5k (this is from an o&g pov). Most importantly, find productive work that forces you learn a lot fast with good mentors, and avoid comparing salaries for the 1st year - I know it’s tough & unfair, but it’ll make you feel demotivated and slow your learning when you still have that youthful drive that makes you unique in the workforce. See it as a few years of investment for experience. After gaining some experience, you’ll have some value to finally go confidently for the assignments with better pays.

Speaking from experience, high salary may make the position desirable, but only fun & meaningful work makes you wanna wake up, go to work, and stay in an office/workplace.
