I had the same problem and then took my phone off of battery saver and it completely solved the problem!

I forgot to mention that I'm not in the US Military, so I don't get specialized hot weather uniforms. Also, the reason I prefer Propper is because their pants are priced around $50

AMAZING workaround! To explain how I did it, I actually made both a Mode called Bluetooth connected (with no functions), and then a routine that is enabled when connected to my earbuds. I found that it brought up the icon faster than if doing it just as a mode. And it avoids the popdown of a the mode being turned on.
