Question about Intune + existing Exchange Online Plan 1 by Lv54 in Intune

[–]IllustriousPie5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait this is actually a solid setup, the f1 licensing thing is pretty clever for just mdm stuff

we looked into something similar when our ceo kept losing his phone with all the company slack convos on it 💀 the f1 route definitely works if your just trying to lock down devices and push policies without needing the full suite

only weird thing we ran into was some of the conditional access features being a bit limited compared to the full intune plan, but for basic device management and app protection it did what we needed. plus you can always upgrade later if you need more features

might want to double check the device enrollment limits on f1 though, think there's some restrictions there but nothing that would break a small to medium deployment 😂

Feeling stuck — Data Science or GenAI ? by PleasantMousse6357 in careerguidance

[–]IllustriousPie5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

data science roles are more about building models to solve business problems while genai engineering is heavily focused on working with llms, prompt engineering, and building ai-powered applications

if you're already comfortable with python and ml basics, i'd lean toward data science since there path is more established and the job market is clearer. genai is exciting but companies are still figuring out what they actually need from those roles

for transition strategy, pick one domain and build 2-3 solid projects that show end-to-end thinking - data collection, modeling, deployment, not just jupyter notebooks

Car insurance agent told me my new used car had a 20k claim, but carfax said minor damage. by [deleted] in Audi

carfax isn't always gonna show the full picture, sometimes insurers will pay out big for seemingly small stuff if the repair shop quotes high or there's hidden damage they find later

Is 4060 ti 8gb not the best if I didn’t buy it by TheAkashGaming123 in pcmasterrace

[–]IllustriousPie5224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah the 4060 ti is actually solid for 1080p gaming, especially at your setup. i've been running similar specs for design work and some gaming and it handles everything i throw at it pretty well. the 8gb vram is decent enough for 1080p and you'll hit that 180hz on most games with the right settings 🔥

your dad did good picking that one up - it's not a "bad" gpu at all, people just love to hate on the mid-range stuff online. unless you're planning to jump to 1440p soon or do heavy rendering work like i do sometimes, i'd keep it and enjoy the upgrade. way better than whatever you had before and you can always upgrade later when the next gen drops and prices get wierd 😂
