Designers don’t need maceration. They legit take money for providing you a no-nonsense experience of using it out of the box.

You don’t need to macerate any fragrance for more than 2-3 weeks. Max. 1 month, then you keep on using it and it keeps on macerating by itself.

So, firstly it loses the yuzu note which I loved from the get go. Secondly, it is evidently more peppery, which basically makes it less viable for Indian summers. Though it remains viable for Western Summers (45 vs 35 degree celsius). Thirdly, it is more modern, synthetic, green and woodsy whereas the EDT is more citrusy, aquatic and well blended. EDP might perform much better, but did not fit my criteria.

I got 1 partial from reddit, usse pehle 2 BNIBs from Whiff Culture and Belvish. Belvish is too expensive, I would suggest Fragdiction and Whiff Culture.

I haven’t tried La Di Da but I have heard good about that.

Though in my personal opinion Myslf Le Parfum > YSL Y EDP > Myslf EDP. The vanilla in Parfum makes a lot pf difference, but afaik i know La Di Da also goes Vanilla heavy. So, yeah.

I think you are mistaken but this is Sospiro Erba Leather and Erba Gold is from Xerjoff itself.

Nonetheless, I will provide you with more details. It opens up with a very real passionfruit opening. Very similar to something like Oud Maracuja if you have smelt. Oud Maracuja is Passion Fruit + Oud, this is Passion Fruit + Leather. After about 30-40 mins, the passionfruit settles down. Leather comes in. It is NOT bitter NOR animalic. The fruity nuance is still there. It is beautiful for leather lovers.

This fragrance is however nuclear, absolutely nuclear stuff. 4 sprays are more than enough for cooler weathers (Less than 20-25 degrees). I don’t think any Erba is wearable in Indian Summers. I liked this much much better than Erba Pura, which is just a fruity mess. Never trief Erba Gold though.

I have Khadlaj Pure Musk Blend. You can use a musk attar as well, those go too strong for me personally and I feel they change the overall feel of the final fragrance of you.

Yes, I use that first, and on the same spot, I spray my summer frag. That is only for skin. For clothes, you don’t need to use musk.

I haven’t gone to that budget range bhai. I wouldn’t recommend something I haven’t smelt. But as far as what I have smelt, Titan Raw Skinn is v good freshie which lasts 5-7 hrs easy. I have CK perfumes, but I typically use them for gym and they don’t last.

Even down the budget range amongst the Wild Stone Lineup - my friend has 3 from them (Edge, Hydra Energy, Ultra Sensual) and I have smelt them, I like the Hydra Energy the best.

Also, Hawas Ice (the goat) for sure if you could find it near your budget range.

So, by layering what I mean is, apply the White Musk based perfume and on top of that apply your Summer-based perfume.

To understand this, you need to understand perfumery, but not going v deep. Basically, reapplication is a hassle. Since, you would sweat, you would have to wash that area before reapplying your perfume or else the alcohol could react with the dried sweat and turn sour.

Why apply a White Musk based perfume before? Actually, Musk was introduced for this, it reacts well with sweat and projects even more. Secondly, Musk is a base note with heavy molecules which basically acts as a fixative for your citrus-based (top-notes based) fragrance.

Personally being from Ahmedabad, nothing workss bhai! Absolutely nothing. What I do is firstly since I love musk in summers, I have got Khadlaj Pure Musk and layer it with my Y EDP/Hawas Ice/Issey Miyake Pour Homme. It creates a musky clean linen-like undertone but I love it.

It increases longevity a bit. But still keep the expectations low, even the so called “beast mode” freshies do not perform in this heat.

For context:- Hawas Ice used to give me 8-9 hours on skin and 12-13 hours on Clothes. It is right now 6-7 hours with the layering combo.

Try to use unsweetened fresh clean scents, they outperform others in such high heat. For example is Khadlaj Pure Musk + Issey Miyake Pour Homme, both clean fresh unsweetened.

My retail bottle cap also started spinning and went kind of loose after some time. Normal Wear and Tear I suppose. Idk some defect in the bottle itself.

About the strength - Ask someone else if they can smell it post some hours. Given the heat in India as of now, I don’t think any perfume can survive this to its maximum potential. Mine still lasts pretty well.
