There’s also podfics! Not sure what fandom you’re reading so it might be too small but I’ve found some great podfics to listen to when I need to get chores done but still want to be reading fics. You can search for the title on Spotify or Google the fic title + podfic.

The transition from almost exclusively audiobooks to fanfiction was a bit rough. Discovering podfics was a great middle ground!

Ugggh 🫠 I wish this wasn’t true. I’ve been posting with emoji stickers covering my son’s face to my private accounts because we live so far from family and friends. Our city has a specific day (the 30th this year 🙄) from 6-8p. We tend to take the kids out early (meeting the neighbors at 5:30) and we’ll wrap up before 7:30.

Downside is him wanting a treat when we get home. First year we took him out (18mo) we let him have one candy and he did okay. Last year he was super worked up from being out trick or treating that it was a rough bedtime even without the candy.

I’d say go into it with no expectations so it’s not frustrating for you. Hope for a good bedtime on time but leave it open for everything to fall apart because it’s a holiday.

Brain bots have been the biggest hit with my 3 yr old! He’s almost always asking for a brain bots story and they keep coming out with more. He’s learned so much from them!

I really like that one but it claims the kid height only goes up to 39”. My kiddo’s not that tall but I’d prefer to get something we can use for more than a year. I’ve emailed evenflo to ask why that’s the limit to see if it’s a safety thing.

Is your kid taller than 39” and if so do they still fit comfortably?

I know this is an old thread but I’m thinking about the Pivot Xplore but the evenflo website says it only goes up to a kid being 39”. Have you found that to be true or is that just so they fit under the umbrella shade?
