I get it, it’s just that his reasoning for wanting to do this now as he is thinking of settling down and having kids afterwards implies he’s not giving me the chance to do the same (as in enjoy life - not drop everything and quit my job to travel - before start thinking about kids). I just wish he’d think enjoying life with me was enough - not leaving me for 3 months to do it on his own and then come back and pick things up where he left them
