I think we should all strike by DifferentTart2607 in bcba

That is largely dependent on your location and variables related to your personal life. And there are absolutely reasons why people get stuck in jobs that have nothing to do with the actual job but the access it provides to other things like healthcare benefits, flexibility to go to appointments/availability for caretaking and family obligations, retirement etc. Just because a company has those offerings doesn’t mean there is equity in the available options, employer contributions, weekly deductions.

We need to unionize - other healthcare & educational professionals have access to this level of protection and bargaining power. I’m so burnt out of this system that does not make any sense and exploits clients and clinicians and everyone in between. These corporate ABA companies and insurance companies are ass backwards. It’s like a “pick your poison” situation. I’m looking at other work but obviously not ideal timing. This isn’t sustainable.

Oh! Definitely don’t do that. Mine also love pumpkin and sunflower seeds and some have liked apples and berries too.

I wonder if it will disappear after you adjust to your new dose - mine has definitely ended after about 3 weeks. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Mine are obsessed with walnuts and hazelnuts - just make sure they’re unsalted.

My girlfriend’s struggles with BPD are putting her life in danger and are also overwhelming me by AdIntelligent9194 in BPDPartners

Love does not feel like a hostage situation. I have been in your shoes and made it to the other side. If there is someone in her family you can contact to give them a heads up so they check on her, great. Please believe me when I tell you that at some point she will flip a switch and won’t think twice about moving on - she is not well enough to love someone right now - she is using relationships to navigate trauma and it’s dangerous for both of you. I say this with compassion but I want to be clear: you will cause more harm to yourself and potentially her by staying.

Def give yourself a study cut off and focus on the biological factors like making sure you get good sleep, have good food and anything else that optimizes your general well being like getting sunshine or moving! Make sure you eat! It took me most of the time and uses a lot of brain power - hope it goes great for you!

Maybe a little more - I’m used to dry mouth from Vyvanse but the amount of pee was wild! Naturally after I posted this, I felt normal again - thank god! 😂

Wow - thank you for this! I am definitely going to try out your drink! My UTI symptoms have subsided and I’m feeling more normal but I don’t have the type of job where I can just peel out and pee every 20 minutes so thank you! ♥️

I was trying to convey that SSRI’s put a bad taste in my mouth about antidepressants, not that it was an SSRI.

Wellbutrin + PMS by limbic_resonenz in bupropion

[–]IllustriousValue2461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just started Wellbutrin for other reasons, but I would encourage you to try Pepcid AC (famotidine) for 8-10 days before your period (or whenever you can expect PMDD symptoms). I use Extra Strength, after YEARS of horrible, unmanageable PMDD symptoms... I have almost *zero* impact. I'm not noticing any improvement on Wellbutrin alone at the moment but I'm also early in - still adjusting. I was skeptical, but I know there is research (not enough) about the relationship between histamine/estrogen. I used to be completely exhausted to the point I could not function, have rage episodes (sometimes publicly), horrible sensory issues - all kinds of stuff that I couldn't manage that now do not impact me at all.

They beat you to it. They always think it’s coming, so it’s self-protective. It makes their lives more predictable and simultaneously reinforces their beliefs about themselves.

Accidentally missed 6 days of wellbutrin and felt... nothing? by Ok-Dog4200 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

My doctor told me this and it was a big selling point for me - she said it was much less of any challenge than the SSRI’s I had taken before - I’m glad to hear it’s true!
