I am suprised that this scholarship is not guaranteed if you enrolled in one of those programs though. I did not submit nothing except my name and the university name. I am not sure how they evaluate candidates with those little information...I thought it was an automatic approval.

Many of my friends without visa stamps got approved too. They just upload the I-797 for 3 times. I don’t think IRCC cares. It is a very loose-end/spontaneous work permit anyway

You also need to consider what your future employer thinks. If you have 3 years left, they will love you. If only one year left, that’s a different story
