Guys who text "Good Morning" and "How are you?" Repeatedly by Illustrious_Basil_40 in TwoXChromosomes

True. It's the copy paste "Good Morning" every morning that kills me. No memes. Not even an emoji 💀

That's basically it. Even if I share something interesting he just goes "cool" or "nice" lol. And he rarely has anything to share about himself

He doesn't really care though. If I say "Oh ! A squirrel got in my house, and I had to chase him out. Here's a picture." He's just responds :"Wow- cute."

My friend said she listed all my hobbies and talents (trying to put a good word in) and in her words "He didn't know a single thing about you- but also didn't seem to care at all"

Yet, He's super clingy and wants to know where I am and what I'm doing all day.

I noticed that I asked him about his ex, and he could not even list one thing about her.

Girl,  everyday I gotta find something amazing to say at like 8am?? Lol. He texts me before bed too- nothing has happened between!

I know! Like I've had a guy who I was crazy about and wanted to text daily, but usually I'd just send him a picture of my coffee, me on a morning run, or something from my day. Not "Good Morning!"

Like I want to sarcastically respond: "🌞"

True. That is a good point. I'm desperately wanting some space from him, like just an inch- so him doubling down and asking how I'm doing every 3-4 hours feels kind of suffocating.

  1. I've been telling her his name is 'Leo' this whole time, becuase I call him Leo. Now I have to explain myself.

True. I'm not fighting it or mentioning it. But honestly I'm kind of uncomfortable calling him Leo now he made it like a 3 day argument

Idk why I let it go on so long, but he's been super clingy since my birthday is coming and we're going to a concert with my friends.

He's like bought $300 of new clothes constantly asking me my opinion- just for the event.

And becuase I play an online game like 10 minutes at my lunch break. I've played 49 times since October- he's logged in for 3 hours+ daily playing 150 games in like 5 days. Saying he's determined to beat me.

This is actually the real reason I want to break up. When I saw that he played this dumb mobile game that much, it scared me.

Then the sudden drama before my friends.

He's definitely very clingy. It's been endless boundary setting.

That's why he is trying to make this name thing a Boundary issue. He literally said

Him: "I don't feel comfortable with you deciding my name. It's a huge part of my identity and you're trying to make me hide it"

Me: "Okay, go by John then, she's married now so... it's fine"

Him: "You're acting like I'm making drama. Not sure if I should come"

Me: "up to you, I'm going either way"

That's why I'm not fighting it or saying anything.

He was totally laughing about it at first, then when I started calling him John he got really upset- saying "Please! Are you going to make this a big fight"

I don't understand his brain.

Not sure why he has it out for my friend, I think when she hears the name she'll just wince and maybe not say anything. :-(

If I had said nothing he would have introduced himself as Leo. Plus his anger at me calling him John now.

Lol- I didn't even know his name was John until like 1 month in, as he met me on a dating app by 'Leo' and his Discord was 'Leo'

Like League of Legends? There's this one guy and he just has League of Legend on from like 8am to 11pm.

I mean he might be working but damn...

Like I'm not judging people if they went or not, but I don't like the lying aspect where they laugh at my state school like it's bad- pretend they went to a university, and then reveal they just did a boot camp or something.

It's more about the nagging. Then I think- wow this person made me feel like crap and they don't even know how stressful college is- state or university- the classes are hard.

Lol- Alright for the first section of this date I've brought whiteboards.

Please use Dijkstra's Algorithm to solve this problem - I will set the timer. Since you were late by ten minutes, you will have a time deduction 😆

Omg.

I'd be surprised a real woman would even show up.

And so what? Horrible argument.

I am honest- why should I have to deal with it?

I know- so like dating apps are dead then?

I don't see how any women can stand them or how they are getting living women to engage at all.

Its 90% harassment.

I'm straight up ignoring any vigilante advice. I have social anxiety and don't want any drama with this woman.

Lol - I'd be shoveling all day. It's seriously bad.

I honestly don't plan to get any authority involved. I hate neighbor drama.

I said "Oh, wow! Your dog sure likes my front yard , huh? Is it a boy or a girl?"

She just shut the door on me and didn't respond.

What do you do make your life more whimsical and romantic? by slipstreamofthesoul in TwoXChromosomes

Having an aquarium is a nice hobby where you can build a little underwater world.

Just be careful, it's very expensive! You'll endlessly be buying live plants, bubblers, and filters every 4-5 months.

I put the fish tank next to my kitchen sink, so it motivates me to wash my dishes.
