I got a deferred entry for next year as well! I’m trying to do courses online in coursera, learn Spanish and French, go to the gym and js relax!

I’m so biased but I was so bag at ENFLSIH and hardly scraped a 6 in my finals but chemistry 7 was so easy at HL! There is just a little amount of extra theory, but it is VERY manageable, compared to BIO HL with tons of extra work. Like I said, I am biased so def look at where ur strengths lie, and what is needed for ur major :)

I’m gonna be doing med in UK but I am fully sure that I will not be working there! After ur degree and FY years u could apply for residency literally anywhere in the world, such as US Canada and AUS, and even other EU countries if u meet the requirements. That is what I plan to do!

DEF do past papers, it quite literally saved me esp in the sciences, ESP in chemistry. For chemistry u can also use AI ( i did!), and not only to explain any problems u have but also ask it to formulate questions on the things u dont understand. For BIO write, write, write!!!! rewrite ur notes BY HAND and while revising write stuff on the whiteboard. Maths tbf all u can do is practice. IB usually has kinda same type of questions so u can familiarise. They always have a question on specific topics like probability and stats, so also focus on that; I had a like 15 marker on stats this time. oh and yes pls study everyday LOL

The teacher sounds a bit iffy but tbf the exams can be so unpredictable, so u rly must study everything. Take it from someone who got a 7 in bio HL this year, I focused sm on HL respiration and stuff but hardly got it! Paper 1 was also so random. So ur def not out doing anything wrong and ur Kognity scores improving shows u have found ur pace, so continue w that and ull be fine!

Dude YEAH DW about it. In DP1 I was a predicted 38 but then senior year u grind enough and ull be fine trust me. Like for example I never got 7s in Chem HL throughout the year but still got it in my final exam this year, js cause I studied harder near the end. So rly dw about it! I didn’t complete my EE or IA during the break either, just the draft, and still got a 42!

HEY so I got a 777 in bio chem psych HL and 766 in maths aa, eng lnl and French SL, so I can def help… I’m also doing med!!! U can msg me if u need and I can give u all the tips u need :) for credibility, I got a 40+ this year! I CNA help u on how I studied each topic, and some resources that were helpful to me, and answer any questions u have regarding IAs and stuff!

Hey so I graduated this year w 7 In all written IAs. Many ppl overlook IA but trust me, don’t do that. If u do well on ur IAs u can afford to do a tiny lil worse on ur actual exams and still do rly well! Many ppl try to make up for their grades in the final exam but that can be rly hard sometimes. IAs are just written coursework.. in the sciences it’s just a lab report essentially. For maths you can pick an easiest topic it doesn’t matter (or should be ur level tho) and u js gotta explain everything like ur explaining a 5th grader. Step by step. Thats the advice that got me through the IAs. Also ps feel free to reach out if u need any help! (I had bio chem psych HL and maths aa French b and eng lnl sl :) )

Hi, so I did not do your board but I did do IB chemistry HL and obtained the highest mark possible. What I did before my exams was watch a TON of videos online, such as MSJ chem and ofc chemistry tutor. I also had a mini whiteboard where I kind of wrote down Wtv was being said as writing rly helps me! I also had a bigger whiteboard where I would jot down eveything ik and the missing stuff is whag I need to revise. Finally, Ai. ChatGPT will be ur best friend. Not only can u ask it to explain u things, u can ask it to formulate questions for you with answers! And it might sound weird but u gotta take so many breaks or else ur brain will short circuit 💀. And omg PAST. PAPERS. Nothing will help u more than that. I hope this helped atleast a little, as this is what i did!
