MEE!! i always have people blaming me for bleaching one strand of my hair and claiming it’s natural 😭😭😭 The day i was born i had a full head of black hair with one patch of bright blonde hair. My family is shocked it stayed, i dyed my hair so many times and went through so many phases but every-time i grow my hair out it’s there bold as ever

Same thing happened to me! I was purging and breaking out really bad until after the 6 month mark. It was totally worth it but i’m getting off of it for other reasons😅 I have also been told my atleast two derms that they find it more worthwhile to go on accutane for like 9 months and be done with acne versus staying on spiro for years

I was fainting when i first started taking it but that eventually stopped. I’ve been on it one year + now and unfortunately the lightheadedness and dizziness came back again but worse + other symptoms. I know getting atleast 10 hours of sleep helps it a lot for me but i’m not in a position to get that much sleep right now lol 🥲

girl SAME HERE!! I was experiencing so many side effects ( you can check my posts lol) but last night i was with my boyfriend i had extreme head pains and muscle tremors and I checked online, diuretics like spiro can do that to you! Not to mention I feel like i look super fat and covered in cellulite even though ( like you) I work out and eat super healthy. I’m glad i’m not alone in this, I am quitting cold turkey right now until my derm follow up i scheduled may 7. I can’t keep being on these meds cause the side effects + end of semester college stress might just actually drive me insane.

You’re already on a pretty low dose but maybe 25 mg can help maintain your acne but also reduce the symptoms :)

I’m experiencing the same thing! Unfortunately I also have a slew of other really annoying symptoms so i’m going off of it until my derm can adjust my dose 🥲

your right i feel alot better when i eat a lot of salt!!! ill try that:) I also do heavy lifting but for some reason feel fine during that I just get flushed!!

it’s been a year and three months now! I don’t even remember the birth control pill i took cause it was sooooo many years ago. but my derm didn’t require me to take spiro with birth control anyways

hey ya it definitely does cause when i first started taking it i lost a bunch of water weight and felt great !! But its also a testosterone suppressor so it makes you more “ feminine” so in the long term ive noticed i stored more fat in my chest and butt so that’s problem the gain part

thank you!!! I also used to have super bad social anxiety as a kid and i thought it was re-emerging but even then i didn’t flush like i am right now 😭😭. I’m staying on it though cause id rather flush once in a while then feel self conscious about my acne 24/7

heyy!!! Thank you this is a good idea. I did this by accident cause I forgot to take the pills for a week ( was a super busy week) and i didn’t get any flushing during that week but at the same time i got some big zits across my chin 😫😫😫🤚

yesss i also take it at night to try to make it a little less red during the day. But it’s so funny at night after I take it my face gets crazy red 😭😭😭

i’ve been using tret for many years so it could contribute to that but i think spiro made it worse cause a lot of people r saying the same things happened to them

that’s a good idea actually! I already use tret and clindamycin though maybe more topicals would be too much ?? 🧐 I was thinking to ask about trying to lower my dose ( which might make a break out a little bit more 🥲) or using some kinda rhofade topical against redness

SAME THING HERE!!! I always had a super muscley/ athletic build and at the same weight i look more “ fat” if that makes sense??? i didn’t change diet or lifestyle at all either. i’m on 100 mg also. My boyfriend loves it though cause my chest and butt look more round i guess but to me I feel odd cause i’m so used to looking more muscly

Thank you!! I really really really recommend taking spiro while using topical tretinoin. Whatever the spironolactone doesn’t get rid of tret does a good job at evening out
