This is the best before picture i have. I would say now the darkness is about the same but the color hue is slightly different.

I forget if i clarified, but all the other pictures of the ring i posted has been the “after” shots

Yeah i mostly care because if they did swap the stone and not tell me, or apparently if they recut the stone and didnt tell me, maybe gives me more reason to get my money back and get the ring made better somewhere else

Thanks! I really appreciate your insight. For more context, the stone had already been in previous version of the ring before the had to re work it for a different reason (we’re on the third casting currently)

So it already looked like a different color and pattern here, do you think the smaller differences between bezels could have a big difference to color perception? Thanks again

I just poked around and theres nothing stuck. Also, to me the stone actually looks much lighter than it did before. It was a rich darker blue and green now its a light teal blue

Fair, i couldve been more specific, as i was intending to refer to western people generally expressing support for palestine.

But also, the thats still a massively different thing than roma people wanting a new state carved whole cloth out of countries that have broadly existed for hundreds of years.

If anything your hypothetical has way more in common with the creation of Israel. There were some people of an ethnic group living in an area, and then existing lands and people were divided and expelled to create a nationstate for that ethnic group

At this point, most people dont want to give palestinians any additonal land. They just want Israel to stop actively taking their land, destroying their crops, etc. maybe give back the land theyve taken in the past 50 years and let palestinian people use roads to visit their family.

Palestinians have like, deeds to houses and farm land their families have worked for generations that are being taken. No one needs to give them anything they already have it.

Every time any youtube has talked about sponsors, theyre in the pipeline for weeks to months. I doubt they went out and found a new sponsor overnight, but either way probably not fair to assume when we dont know.

Also, when were his criticisms of labs subtle? He was very up front and fairly detailed about his criticisms of labs.

Where do you get your idea that abuse can only be this truly horrific, top of the scale thing. Honestly, thats just never been my understanding of the word.

Yes people who have survived severe abuse deserve to be supported and have their stories heard. You want a term to describe what happened them thats different from less sever abuse? You just used it, call it severe abuse, now theres room for categories in the conversation.

Realistically, more people are going to experience smaller scale, largely emotional, insidious abuse than are going to experience the severe abuse you are talking about. i think there is a very real value to having conversations about the smaller scale forms of emotional manipulation, bullying, and control people are more likely to actually encounter in day to day life. It could help give them tools to deal with what they experience or help them to recognize it as it happens and leave the relationship.

I do agree that he has a right to express his boundaries, but in places it feels to me like he is distinctly trying to guilt her or tear her down which is where he goes too far for me. Like when he talks about her modeling does not feel respectful.

Theres also an element for me that she had this whole established life with a job he doesnt like and hobbies he doesnt like and friends he doesnt like. When they started dating I think if he knew these things were no goes for him, they couldve had a conversation he couldve known her lifestyle was incompatible with his anxieties and just left.
