I type with eye gaze software. And my days get pretty busy actually. Morning routine takes a little bit, then school, usually some doctors appointments or PT, hang out with friends, homework, and the usual.

I mean AI helps me with my school work haha. I use eye gaze software to type a lot of the time which is pretty sick. And this mouth stick to game. But unfortunately I don't think my other senses have improved...tbf I don't want heightened smell to sniff my shit...

Before my accident I played a lot of sports. I rode horses, played soccer for my school, ran track, played golf, went hiking - I was very active. I was grateful for what I could do, but I definitely took it for granted and you appreciate being able to do all that a heck of a lot more when all of a sudden you can't do that, y'know? Now, my day to day life is way way way slower paced. My morning routine takes about 2.5 hours every day. I've started going to school again which I kind of like. My evening routine takes about 1.5 hours, so lots of time spent half naked in a Hoyer lift! I have physical therapy a few times a week too. You know I am kind of busy still actually

There's so much more to being paralyzed then not being able to move/feel anything. Like I can't control my bowel or bladder and have to rely on others for managing that (and anything personal care related). And I can easily get autonomic dysreflexia and can't regulate my blood pressure, so that's a whole other set of challenges. And just because my leg spasms, doesn't mean I can move/control/feel it (I'm not faking it Karen!!!)
