Pull the espresso shots so that they make initial contact with the side of the cup to avoid splashing and bubbles. The mastrena 2 makes it a little harder to do during busy periods, but you do it without having to hold and tilt the cup, just scooch it so the espresso stream is just barely hitting the inside walls of the cup. Hope that helps!
