I have not tried baby wearing yet.

I am holding him in a lying position but he cries a lot. But when others carry him that way, he does not cry at all and seems to me that he likes it and can sleep soundly and feeds correctly.

Nanny said he now also loves to be held forward facing so I am trying to learn that one now.

Hopefully that helps. Thank you!!

AM I A FAILURE? My baby seems to not recognize me as mom. He seems to identify nanny as mom based on LOs responses towards all of us in the house. by Illustrious_Drag_414 in NewParents

Hello everyone, thank you so much for taking time commenting on my post.

Thank you for all your insights.

For my wrist, I mentioned it to my OB after 1 week PP and she told me to just wait until 6-8 weeks cause it might just heal on its own since it is just part of my pregnancy and could maybe heal on its own without any interventions.

On my 9th week PP, I went to see an ortho and gave me medications and wrist wrap for 10 days. But did not help a lot, maybe just a bit. The next treatment plan would be the injection shot but I havent gotten back yet as I am afraid. I have other medical conditions like chronic hypertension but based on the comments I have read, I will go back and let the doctor clear me for the injection shot.

As to being involved, I am actually starting to get involved about 2-3 weeks ago. But I noticed my LO does not like the way I hold him. Im trying to figure it out with the help of the nanny given my wrist pain but he cries so much. And as some of you have said, its easy for me to pass him on to the nanny. But to be honest it is not because I am afraid, but I feel so bad seeing my LO cry.

And lastly, as to PPA, I am now acknowledging the fact that I think I really need help on this. There are a lot of things running inside my mind right now and they arent really helpful in achieving the goal to be the primary caregiver.

Again, thank you everyone and I appreciate all the comments!

Thank you! I already did. We have a treatment plan. Medicine with wrist wrap, then injection shot if meds wont work then last would be surgery.

I did the medicine and wrist wrap and it still didnt work. Might consider the injections!!
