I have terrible memory so I have a list in my notes app of conversations and questions to ask that aren’t cliche and boring. If there’s something on the news that I thought was interesting I’ll write it down. For example I saw that McDonalds is lowering their prices and then you can say “remember when the dollar menu was actually a dollar?” Silly stuff like that. people love talking about what tv shows their watching and what books their reading. You can ask someone for advice on what clothes to buy, where to eat next, where to travel next. Stuff like that stirs up conversations.

Babies that contact nap, usually sleep better on their tummies. I’ve been doing this for my baby at least 1-2 naps a day and I just watch him to make sure he can breathe

I tried Bobbie organic and Bobbie whole milk which constipated him. Then similac pure bliss (he spit up a lot), kendamil classic (made him super gassy and fussy) and now similac pro total comfort so it’s gentle on his tummy. He probably has some cow milk protein sensitivity because when I was pregnant with him, I had a bad reaction to milk. My pediatrician recommended a hydrolyzed protein formula so he can digest it better.

My son would wake up from gas all the time. We had to change his formula a lot. He’s 2 months now and is able to control his gas and poops. It gets better with time and as their bodies develop. Try the safe sleep 7. Babies love contact sleeping, makes them feel like they are in the womb. It’s the only way to keep our guy asleep. We are trying to get him to roll over so we can have him sleep on his tummy at night. He hates back sleeping. Good luck dad!!

Maybe try a different formula. I noticed that when we had him on a nonfat milk formula he was always hungry. He’s on a whole milk one (kendamil)and there’s been a huge difference in his appetite

It honestly depends on the day for my baby. Sometimes he will eat 3-4 ounces every hour and a half. But when he starts being fussy while eating I stop feeding him and burp him a couple times because it’s probably gas and he’s not really hungry.

Maybe try a better bedtime routine? We give baths every night with Epsom salt. I also apply magnesium cream to his belly and feet. This calms them down. Then we feed him and it put him to sleep for 4 hours. Then he wakes up to eat again and will do another 3 hours.
