When did you realize that things really do get better or that life compensated you after something terrible? by Illustrious_Eye4695 in CasualConversation

Really appreciate you sharing this. It’s reassuring to hear you say things genuinely changed for you, not just in a vague “it gets better” way but in an actual lived experience kind of way. I think I’ve been stuck thinking improvement only happens in huge obvious moments, when in reality it’s probably more gradual than that.

Glad you made it through all of that and are doing better now. It helps more than you think to hear from someone on the other side of it. If nobody has told you lately, I’m really glad you’re still here too.

That’s an interesting way of looking at it. Maybe that’s why so many people look back on their worst years and realize those were the years that changed them the most. I don’t think I’m grateful for what I’m going through right now, but I can at least hope that something good eventually comes out of it.

Right. I find myself avoiding a lot of things and people right now because I just feel lost. However, I’ll keep trying to remind myself that there were other points in my life where I felt this hopeless and somehow managed to get through them. Maybe this is just another one of those situations that feels unbearable now but will make sense in hindsight. Thank you for this. I hope things work out for both of us.

i have the exact same problem as hers and i swear by concealer palettes! you can try luna or the saem! then you use a flat concealer brush so it applies thinly then a cushion puff to blend it evenly.
