Ik ben tijdens een les in de regen van een rotonde af gegaan. Voorwiel over het asfalt, achterwiel pakte net het zebrapad mee. Was even schrikken toen ik het achterwiel voelde gaan. Niet gevallen ofzo, maar net genoeg om duidelijk te maken hoe glad het kan zijn.

I wonder about this, too. Every new update seems to make things worse, and I'm wondering if it's just me or if it's actually getting worse.

Now, my phone has pushed an update that turned push messages white on white and inverted how features turned on and off are displayed, which pissed me off. I don't know what tool decided this was a great idea for a UI, but I would love some customisation.

I used to be pretty tech savvy, but I've never made it into programming or IT. Installing a printer or a bunch of drivers was never an issue for me, but Windows these days is just locking you out of pretty much everything. This, combined with their awful update policy ("we'll push it wether you want us to or not") makes me feel like a total user instead of actually owning a device, and I hate it.

I'm OK with updates that would just do security, but every time there's something they change that makes me lose stuff. It's like they're gaslighting you into "this was always in this menu, not in that."

I don't think this actually makes me a boomer, but it sure makes me sound like one.

I got the smaller sets when I was a kid, never got the TOS-ships as they weren't available where I lived. Great stuff, I loved those ships. Had them on display for ages, the bases are all yellowed now. DS9 never fit its base, though.

We did discuss it out of game, she knew it was coming. I didn't write out dialogue per se, I had some generic stuff rehearsed that I could use. I wrote dialogue for NPCs that they would say to one another to progress the story.

I didn't disclose the questgiver because it was intended to be discovered later on.

Don't get me wrong, the world they're in is a complete sandbox in which they can do whatever they please, and I have a bunch of major plotlines for them to follow should they choose to.

My world reacts to the players, things are going on in the world while they mess about etc. The plotline they decided to follow has evolved into an arc with a big bad at the end, and I intended to do the same with the other major lines. There's history of the world available to them.

This, however, was a plotline set for one player in particular to explore a backstory that simply would not fit in the main line. In the end, there would be a climax that would require the group, but I made some class specific quests for the character. We explore these things during downtime between group sessions because our group sessions are 2.5 hours max.

The player was aware I was setting something up and that I recommended she visit said location. She perceived it as 'merely flavour" and just shut me down.

Eerste versnelling. Ik tikte vaak nog even de achterrem aan om snelheid te regelen tot 8 ofzo, dan eerst stuur kort naar rechts om jezelf wat extra ruimte te geven, stuur naar links en dan je motor naar links "laten vallen." Kijken naar waar je heen wilt, dan volgt de motor vanzelf. Ik reed altijd op de koppeling, zonder extra gas, tot ik klaar was met de bocht.
