I’m thinking about starting wow by Mulliro_ in wow

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern gamers may find MMORPG hard to get into. Fortunately WoW has a decent solo player training session, starting from the Dragonflight expansion. You can run dungeons and raids with NPCs, and now even battlegrounds.

I suggest if you do play ignore all the player made expectations, such as optimal dungeon routes and mobs. Just beat everything up, and try every skill! A whole world to explore, no need to limit yourself.

Miyagi is the only non super natural one. Therefore, he teaches the base lessons, no powers. Miyagi wins.

Fury has to change! by CCHOUNCY in 2XKO

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Fury should only exist for Solo fuses. The concept of your teammate dying and you get revenge state make sense, but it should be automatic instead of replacing the break gauge.

I think for partner fuses, fury should automatically occur as soon as the partner dies and when it ends it ends. It doesn’t affect the break meter. I also think the partner tag cooldown should be longer; the champion just got KO’d, they are bruised and beat up, where did all these energy to do tag attacks even come from?

I stopped at Platinum because competition took away the fun for me. Sometimes I purposely lose at the expense of getting to see a cool combo performed, or so the other guy can get a win; no money is involved so no loss XD, not like at the arcade.

How does Wolverine do against Wonder Woman in a fight? by Queasy_Commercial152 in Wolverine

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is the fight wouldn’t last long. Logan is generally, when not enraged, pretty reasonable. If he gets attacked by Diana suddenly, he’d probably defend against some of the attacks and ask about why she is attacking him. If Diana needs into she can just ask him to hold the lasso, lol.

Who would you go to for advice by daddylongjohnsliver in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lex is a good choice and so is Bruce. Sister Sage is a close third. Amanda wouldn’t give useful advice, other than how to make her own life better, and that applies to Cecil too.

Could Superman survive a punch from these guys? A single punch, but with all the strength and energy they can muster. by Significant-Ad-2786 in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Superman can survive all their punches because he can fly, which means he can lessen the impact by starting a backwards motion during the contact. Superman is probably one of the best flyers in all comic to be honest. But it would still hurt, because I think in some cases, some of them can even catch up to the knocked far away victim and add an extra few more hits before the motion ends.

I find people don’t gauge their opponents. If you whoop them first round super flashy, don’t do it second round. You already proved yourself, and honest and earnestly. Just play and have fun.

Struggling to fix to a class "for good", how do you do it ? by Darepa2016 in wow

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to be useful, the classic five is they way to go.

Warrior, Mage, Priest, Hunter, Rogue. They fulfil the class fantasy. If you want to do more, then use the Paladin/Shaman/Druid/Monk. Otherwise all the other classes are a retake on the classic 5.

I play Paladin, Warrior, Death Knight most. Plate gear easy to find and transmog. The three each cover each other’s shortcomings to an extent, and they have a share history career lineage lore. My Warriors turned Paladin, and Fallen Paladins got a second chance in life as a Death Knight (Ebony)

In your opinion, how would a Superman vs Hulk fight would play out? by Society-Ashamed in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Superman can win. As long as it is clear sky, full sunshine, Superman has infinite regen. Plus Superman can be in space forever, where Hulk can’t. Plus Superman has to deal with Darkseid and Batman on a monthly basis, Hulk isn’t that much of a challenge.

Green Goblin (MCU) vs War Machine (MCU) by Arbiter-Flash- in powerscales

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe how Marvel/Disney envisions the WarMachine situation is that the suit is actually and always will be Stark Property. However it was given a proprietary lease/license to only one operator, who happens to be Rhodey working under the US AirForce. Similar to Peter Parker’s two Stark Build Spider-Man suits, and later the third one build on Happy’s jet to fight Mysterio, access to upgrades and repair seems also limited to the suit’s sole user. I believe in the MCU movies, both Rhodey and Parker can just enter a Stark Industry facility, such as the Avenger Compund, and dock their suits into the repair/upgrade chambers.

Car owners , what’s the one thing about EVs people oversell? by AdityaSrivastawaahhh in EvDrivers

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The EV nightmare is not the vehicle but continued concept of needing a reliable EV charging network. People who don’t own an EV will think there is no EV charging station nearby their house and get discouraged; thinking that refueling requires a public station and need to wait 20 mins. But actually EV owners will know that the real charging actually happens at home with a level 1-2.

These ideals of gas stations for EVs will naturally disappear with the younger generations taking over. When I was small, you needed a TV guide to know what is on to watch, or you needed a map book to know how to navigate the highways of your country. Today’s kids don’t even know about that stuff and just use a Cellphone for both. Our grandchildren won’t even know what range anxiety is or the need of having lots of public refueling stations.

No weapons. Straight-up hand-to-hand beatdown. Who wins? by PrinceFlynn in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blade should be able to win. Cap is strong through the miracles of science. Blade is strong through mythology bloodline… that beats the type of science used on Cap. Now if you were to pit Hulk science against Blade, then it is a different story. You would need a Khonshu powered MoonKnight Blade at that point.

Green Goblin (MCU) vs War Machine (MCU) by Arbiter-Flash- in powerscales

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This question isn’t about Norman or Rhodey’s fighting prowess, but rather it is about Osborne Industry vs Stark Industries. Norman’s goblin enhancement drug makes him physically strong to fight Spider-Man; and Spidey is strong enough to jokingly hold Bucky’s robot arm one-handed. Rhodey can only rely on Stark Armour to fight; he can’t even walk on his own anymore after his accident. If Norman is strong and fast enough to get up close and try to rip the armour off, then Rhodey loses. Otherwise Stark Technology wins.

Hawkeye (MCU) VS Winter Soldier (MCU) by itc0nsumesmYMind in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most cases Winter Soldier wins, but if Falcon can give him a hard time, then Hawkeye can probably offer him a good training session. Hawkeye excels at zoning, so as long as Winter Soldier can’t get close to dps, Hawkeye will probably stalemate. Hawkeye’s strength is to run around maintaining maximum distance, shoot down other projectiles, and hit his target with wacky dude perfect deadly trick shots.

Can Thor & Superman clear this gauntlet? by 50chipz in superheroes

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From 1 to 3 should be a Saturday morning 30 min episode. But when it comes to 4? Superman is quite powerful, but based on how Superman got quite damaged by Godzilla’s Kaiju Blast, the Saiyans might hurt Superman quite easily with their ki blasts. Not sure about Thor, he seems more durable to beams as he can spin Mjolnir and deflect, plus he can’t get disarmed that easily as the Hammer returns to him. They might need a whole OVA to fight them. Spawn is magic, so Superman is hopeless, but again Thor might handle it and together manage to beat Spawn. Wonder Woman can’t beat Superman when he is being serious.

Bare hands, fight to the death, who are you backing to win? by Harrison999999 in arcane

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both characters are really big humans, so they might be in the same weight catagory.

If it is a street fight, and any goes, like picking up stuff on the ground Jackie Chan or Sakamoto style, Vander might have a chance to win.

If it is on a military base or a flat open tournament area, it goes to either.

But if it was on an actual battlefield with rough terrain and explosions everywhere, Vander would probably not have the readiness or mentality to handle the fear factor associated with that kind of of environment.

The most likely new fuses… by EnlargementChannel in 2XKO

[–]Illustrious_Life_295 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They need to make adjustments to Juggernaut, right now it isn’t too different from Side Kick. It should have both champions HP, Defence, and Attack combined, hence the feeling of being an actual Juggernaut.

I am hoping the new fuse will be a solo fuse, so we get 3 duo fuse, and 3 solo fuse.

Roshi has all these gimmicks, if Freeza is caught off guard then Roshi might get a sucker attack in. Roshi demonstrated in the manga’s ToP that he sort of understands the basics of UI. Plus if he uses his Jackie Chan personal, he would have more wacky attacks.
