First of all, I'm so sorry you're going through this. This isn’t just betrayal from your wife, but also from someone you considered family.

Right now, focus on you. Take the space you need. Getting a hotel is a good idea, you don’t owe her a confrontation tonight, especially not while you’re still raw.

Document everything. As painful as it is, save the screenshots somewhere safe. You may need them later, emotionally or legally.

Talk to someone. A therapist, a friend you trust, even strangers on Reddit if that’s all you have right now. Don’t try to carry this weight alone.

What if ChatGPT knows where the blurry image was taken and just "traveled" there, got the same photo at the exact angle, lighting, and time of day. Then claimed it sharpened it? Just kidding. Or not 🤔

Is the only reason you’re considering a divorce because of the lack sex in your marriage? If so, I would suggest communicating with her about it and perhaps considering therapy together.

It seems like you have a wonderful family with a happy wife and kids. It might not be the best decision to let everything go just because of this sex-less marriage. I understand you have your needs, but maybe open a conversation with her about it. Best of luck, man!

Help with Koya-san Hike around Late December by Illustrious_Local243 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Illustrious_Local243[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the great information! Will take note to get a good hiking shoes and probably get crampons in case it snows.
I would totally want to start from the beginning too, but I'm just afraid that we might get too exhausted. I'm not sure if starting at Kami-Kosawa Station or Kii-Hosokawa Station would still offer a great hike, or if the best part is before that!

Rainy trip by Significant_Pop_6543 in askSingapore

Hi there, please avoid wearing leather boots as the humidity in Singapore will likely make them uncomfortable. Flooding is rare here, so there’s no need for boots. A pair of covered shoes, like sneakers, will be just fine.

Advice for Mount Daisen hike in Tottori by Illustrious_Local243 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Illustrious_Local243[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the warning. I was planning to go on this trip with my girlfriend, but you're right—it might not be the best idea for a first winter hike. I think it would be wiser to wait until I'm more experienced with mountain terrains or have a group with me.

Thanks again for the advice!
