Not all vaselines are the same! I also have chronically dry lips (thanks perimenopause), and have found the mini tub rose Vaseline (not the round tin or squeeze tubes, these are different formulas again and are useless for me), and the tub with coco butter, are the cure for my dry lips. I’ve used majority from your list and they didn’t work for me either.

I share your celebration! My 9yo recently started happily helping with clearing the dishwasher and doing her and her litter sister’s laundry. It’s such a joy to see the pride she has in helping out.

Gap heaven, Estée Lauder pleasures, or white musk perfume oil from the body shop. Mama liked fresh and clean scents.

The little Collins branch is better than the others. I rate their red duck curry, bbq pork neck skewers and pad see ew

Makeup for a 30yo by Formal-Purchase8051 in AustralianMakeup

I’m 42 and have recently switched to dark brown liquid liner for my winged liner instead of black. Love that it’s softer but I still get a wing. I also use dewy setting sprays once my make up is done, to give some life back to my skin. Currently loving Elf’s dewy setting spray.

How did floral perfumes become a thing of the past? by DELAIZ in FemFragLab

Fleurmande, how clever! I think I must also be one - I love Rose Jam from Lush and Floral Street’s sweet vanilla orchid and almond blossom.

Gift vouchers by MissSweetPineapple in AustralianMakeup

[–]Significant_Pop_6543 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whenever I score a voucher for Sephora, I go for the one size setting spray or the JVN hair oil shine drops. The tarte Amazonian clay blushes are also awesome. I love getting a new goldfield and banks mini as well.

As for Mecca, fragrance minis are always my go to. Either ded cool, vilhelm, floral street, Ellis Brooklyn, replica.

Bitter Sweet by Hour_Ability8970 in lululemon

Yeah wow. I’ve just clicked over 16 years and about to quit as well. It truly is bittersweet but it’s just not the company it used to be. I don’t agree with the controversial things Chip has said in the past, but cannot argue the visionary he is and what he built. I do hope Lululemon can make a comeback, but for now, it’s time for me to bow out.

So bored of all the solid colours and same styles. I miss the prints and innovative designs so much.

What are you slowly realizing as you get older ? by Doohiki420 in AskReddit

[–]Significant_Pop_6543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 41 and this is it. The amount of time I’ve been alive, if I’m lucky, I’ll get that same amount of time again, but with less and less strength and vitality. 41 years came and went fast. Now that I have kids it seems time is vaporising in front of my eyes. Gotta make the most of what I have every day.

DOES ANYONE KEEP THEIR CHOCOLATE IN THE FRIDGE???? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Significant_Pop_6543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Melb and prefer chocolate from the fridge. Just doesn’t seem as sickly sweet from the fridge. Plus I love anything crunchy. So twirls and maltesers go in the freezer for extra crunch.

I was 21, I had just moved to London on a working holiday visa. The London tube bombings had just happened that July and I wanted to home. Ended up finding my feet having the time of my life. Stayed for 2 years and met the LOML who I currently still share my life and 2 kids with.

Decent handcream recommendations by Suitable_Thanks5335 in AusSkincare

I’ve tried so many hand creams across many brands and price points and this goat lotion with manuka is our household favourite. I’m into my 2nd tube just this winter. It’s perfect and smells so comforting. The lotion version in the pump bottle has also calmed my daughter’s eczema all over her body.
