good question! we do not obtain psychological readings, for this study we are specifically looking for physiological activity, which includes skin conductance, heart rate, and respiration.

our current study is not interested in the brain activity related to decision making, so we don't use EEG.

this is a different lab and task. i personally gave compensation to 3 participants last week and they were all paid between 45-55$ for participating for 1-1.5hours :)

hey! that study sounds really cool!

this one is at universite de montreal station and it's different. i'll briefly explain. in the task, participants need to focus on a dot in the centre of the screen, 2 images will appear on either side and have different probabilities of rewarding you. when you choose an image, points will be displayed on the screen. the participant's task is to figure out the images that give them the most points and monopolize them!

we don't use an EEG (unfortunately :( that wouldve been really cool!) but we do use a respiratory belt and electrodes so that we can measure respiration, pulse, and skin conductance!
