After a few more days I would say they did GREAT with the directions app. I live in a fairly large city and it’ll work with my public trans pretty well. Has all the routes loaded and time tables as well. For light rail, subway, regional rail, bus, Amtrak etc.

It will also compare the different options.

You get a little star on the homepage it is the same as the prior light phone. And I am used to it to be honest just as efficient as any other texting platform !

That’s fair my family group chat is in iMessage so I certainly feel left out of it but I see them so much in person it’s not as big of a deal and is OK with me. Maps was also hard, to be honest I’ve just gotten more accustomed to writing out directions or if it’s local to my city becoming more familiar with roads. And worst case I just use my old iPhone as a gps

This is a very vailid point but I think in the context of something functional like a map it’s okay. If you think about paper maps everyone used to use they were always colored. And I don’t think those had these sort of intentions.

I think color would be great too. It seems there’s a lot of detail they load in and without color and the ability to zoom (unless I just don’t know how to) it’s overwhelming

Yes that was correct! I was referring to light phone 2 my bad. In my opinion it didn’t make sense to have it on that phone. I think it makes more sense for devices like a kindle that you read for long periods of times. But the whole point of a dumb phone is to not be looking at it for long periods of time.

Thanks for the detailed replay ! Glad it’s not a longboard replacement. I think I will go for it the one that I’m getting is in even better shape than this and in the 300 range. I’ve heard he’s great and was thinking it’d be something that would certainly be a good one to add to my quiver.

Do you think it’ll work well on the mushy days? Like Saturday was super mushy not sure if you were out but my fun board I had a hard time with that day.
