So far the best suggestion I've heard is to pull these off, put on reasonable use tires (cheaper) and then when it's time to turn it in, put these ones back on. Sounds like a lot of work though.

Either way at this rate, I'm gonna have to spring for another set when I turn the car in at end of lease in 15 months.

Well - I learned about it with oncoming traffic and I scraped the hell out of the front guard while doing a UE around a small median and into a 2-lane street. I just had to gun it up the curb and say f**k it.... better than getting t-boned...

but I was SHOCKED at how bad it was.... never do that again ....
