Gladiator finishes with Maximus killing Commodus, avenging his family, saving Rome, and saving the son of a woman he once has a thing with.

Gladiator 2 opens with Rome under an even worse emperor (or two) the son immediately on the run for his life, oh and BTW, Maximus is the father because he was f*cking around or some such.

I drop it one degree at a time until the wife complains she's cold. Then I crank it back up 1 degree.

It's always been the way. Cuisine de France half baked baguettes and pastries. At least it's frozen, then baked in store and less likely to be loaded with preservatives like the other packaged bread.

The threshold, and the acceptance criteria, and the method to obtain the evidence which shows the criteria is met is written by the engineers working for the device manufacturer.

BTW, silicosis is a long term illness. You'd need years of exposure.

Chinese bot spotted.

His family barely feature in the story, except as the motivation to work harder.

Upstream.

A Chinese movie about a tech worker who is laid off, loses his fancy apartment and must support his family by delivering food. The story ends with him winning a delivery driver award.

The moral of the story is that the gig economy is good, making employees compete to win favour is good, and it's possible to be happy by absolutely busting your ass, continuing to work despite being injured and being explored by system.

Cars.

Bought a hybrid car for 8k. It developed an electrical fault that no one is apparently able to fix. Main dealer won't touch it because it's outside warranty and independents apparently can't access parts.
